Alleluia! Christ is Risen! Salem Anglican invites you to come celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ this Sunday, April 21st at the home of our church planters, the Rev. Jason & Angi Clark. The address is 5137 Jones RD SE, Salem, OR, 97306. We will be celebrating the full Eucharistic liturgy. We will begin with a time of fellowship at 9:30 a.m. Coffee, hot chocolate and donuts will be provided. Worship begins at 10:00 a.m. sharp so please plan to arrive during our fellowship time. There will be an Easter egg hunt to follow for our children.
We live at the end of an easement so you will not find our house from the street. Look for the red Salem Anglican sign that marks the beginning of the easement. Please plan to park on Jones RD and walk down the easement to our home. If walking is difficult for you, we invite you to come and park in our driveway. We have room for about four vehicles. We live in the grey house at the end. Just come on in, we are expecting you. We warmly welcome anyone who is visiting us for the first time.
Salem Anglican is a church planting ministry of the Diocese of Cascadia of the Anglican Church in North America. Our goal is to plant a new Anglican church for Salem. We have not yet set a date for the official launch of our new parish, but we believe the time is quickly approaching. Normally, we worship on Saturday evenings at Trinity Covenant Church. The address is 5020 Liberty RD S, Salem, OR, 97306. Our normal worship time is 6:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room, but you are invited to join us for our fellowship meal at 5:00 p.m. in the gymnasium. We value children at Salem Anglican and there is plenty of room in the gymnasium for children to stretch their legs before the service. Children begin in our worship service before being excused for an age appropriate lesson during the liturgy of the Word. We are beginning to employ the Godly Play curriculum for their learning. We invite the children back into the service for the Eucharistic liturgy. We hope you can join us for our Easter service, but if not, we hope to see you at Salem Anglican soon.
May the peace of the Lord be with you,
Anglican Church in North America
